Matthew Johnson is a third generation real estate investor born and raised in Jackson, TN. Matthew grew up in the real estate investment business as his father and grandfather, Ronnie and Nathan Johnson operated Johnson Properties in Jackson beginning in the late 1970’s. Today, Cornerstone’s main office is located at the Johnson Properties’ office location, which had to be re-built in 2004 after a tornado tore through downtown Jackson and demolished the original office. Matthew still works at his grandfather’s desk and strives to continue the legacy that his father and grandfather built. Matthew purchased his first rental home as a freshman at Union University and has since built a rental portfolio of over 165 units with twice that under management. Matthew holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Memphis and Master of Science from MTSU
